Shawl is knit from the top down, with double increases on each side creating the long tails that allow the shawl to wrap around the body without bunching at the neck.
The picot bind-off will most likely require a few yards from the second skein of Colour A in the Marine Silk Sport (shown in rose shades); alternatively, you can use your favourite stretchy bind-off.
I started this shawl when visiting a relative in Port Moody, BC in February - a good time to snuggle up in wool!
Erratum
Row 89: the written instructions should end with "... k to last 3 sts, yo, k1, yo, k2". The chart is correct.
